Subject: Investing in You/Your Membership at The Loft at Burnham

At The Loft at Burnham, our aim has always been simple û to provide a welcoming, community-focused gym where members enjoy excellent facilities, friendly service and value for money.

Over recent months and years, we have continued to invest in improving The LaB and enhancing the overall experience for our members.

At the same time, despite significant general increases in operating and utility costs affecting almost every business, we have worked hard to keep membership fees as low as possible while maintaining the quality of the facilities and services we provide. In fact, many members benefited from reduced subscription rates when the gym was rebranded in 2023.

Unfortunately, there has come a point where, in order to continue operating, maintaining and improving the facilities for everyone, a modest adjustment to membership subscriptions has become necessary.

Accordingly, from 1 September 2026, Adult and Student memberships will increase by £5 per month. Boxing Only memberships will remain unchanged.

Our view, even with this adjustment, we believe The Loft continues to represent exceptional value for money, costing little more than £1 per dayùless than £1.25 per week or approximately 16 pence per day for the increase itself.

As part of this update, we are also delighted to introduce a new benefit for all gym members.

From 1 September, every member will be entitled to enjoy one complimentary barista-prepared tea, coffee or hot chocolate each day in the Blues Bar & CafΘ after their workout. This step aligns with our wider vision for The LaB. Over the coming months, we want to continue improving and developing the Blues Bar & CafΘ into a welcoming community space where members can relax after training, meet friends, catch up over a coffee or simply spend a little more time enjoying the facilities. We want it to feel every bit as much a part of The Loft as the gym itself, and we hope this new benefit encourages members to make it their own.

Your membership continues to include:

*Unlimited access to the gym and all fitness classes, seven days a week.
*Free parking and complimentary Wi-Fi.
*Complimentary admission to Burnham FC home league matches.
*A welcoming private members’ gym where equipment is readily available and queues are rare.
*Our continued commitment to reinvestment into maintaining and improving your facilities.

Unlike many commercial gym operators, every pound of membership income is recircled back into improving the facilities and supporting a community sports and leisure venue that serves hundreds of local people every week. We remain committed to ensuring that The Loft continues to offer an experience and value that far exceeds the cost of membership.
